November 12 and 13, 2011, Japan Week in Hunan was held at Hunan University in Changsha City, Hunan, and Tokushima Prefecture participated in order to promote Machi☆Asobi.

We showed a video about Machi☆Asobi on the stage, showing off the appeal of Tokushima through anime.

The most exciting event was the Cosplay Contest. The two pairs of cosplayers who came to Tokushima from Beijing last month took the stage. Their impeccable makeup and costumes, and their performances rich in story and nuance were a hit with the Hunan audience members.

And (of course!) the Machi☆Asobi cosplayer team dressed as Sailor Moon won the competition! (left photo) Afterwards, many people crowded around the Tokushima tourism booth in order to get a photo with the cosplayers, and caused a bit of an uproar! This was a great opportunity to promote Machi☆Asobi.

At the Tokushima PR booth, the cosplayers used Machi☆Asobi pamphlets to let people know about Tokushima’s anime event.

After the competition, the cosplayers visited the PR booth and over two hundred people came to get their photos taken with them.

Visitors also showed great interest in the Machi☆Asobi PR video and pamphlets.
